Official terms

Bobby’s Bar Crawl, Terms & Conditions

By buying a ticket and joining Bobby’s Bar Crawl (“the Event”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The version published on bobbyscrawl.com on the date you book is the version that applies.

1. General

These terms apply to every booking for Bobby’s Bar Crawl in Edinburgh. The organiser may update them. Changes apply to bookings made after the updated version is published on this website.

2. Age requirement

All participants must be at least 18 years old. Valid physical photo ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID card) may be required at any venue. Digital copies may not be accepted.

3. Ticket purchase and entry

Tickets are valid only for the date and time on the booking confirmation. You must arrive at the meeting point on time. Late arrivals may miss part or all of the Event and are not entitled to a refund. Keep your SumUp, card, or platform receipt as proof of purchase. The wristband issued on the night is your entry for the listed stops that night only.

4. What is included

Unless your confirmation says otherwise, the ticket covers the hosted crawl, wristband, listed complimentary shots (subject to availability), drink deals where offered, queue skip at participating venues, and hosted access along the published route. Extra drinks, food, cloakroom, taxis, and anything not listed are not included. Venues decide who they serve and may refuse service.

5. Bookings on other platforms

If you booked through GetYourGuide, Viator, or another third party, that platform’s terms and refund rules may also apply. These Terms sit alongside them. Where there is a clash on refunds for a platform booking, the platform’s process is used for that payment.

6. Transfers and group bookings

Tickets are not transferable unless the organiser agrees in writing. The person who made the booking is responsible for passing these terms to everyone in their group and for their group’s conduct.

7. Refund and cancellation policy

Tickets are non-refundable unless the Event is cancelled by the organiser. The organiser may cancel for any reasonable cause, including insufficient bookings, venue closures, safety concerns, severe weather, staff illness, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. If the organiser cancels, you will be offered a full refund to the original payment method (SumUp, card, or the platform you used) or a free move to another available date. Refunds are processed as soon as reasonably possible. Date-change requests may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion, subject to availability.

8. Dated event and cooling-off

The Event is a leisure activity on a specific date and time. The usual 14-day online cooling-off period for distance contracts does not apply to this kind of dated leisure booking. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under UK consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Venue changes

The organiser may change the route, venues, or schedule at any time for operational reasons, venue availability, or circumstances beyond the organiser’s control.

10. Right to refuse participation

The organiser and participating venues may refuse entry or remove any participant who:

No refund will be provided in these circumstances. Illegal drug use is zero tolerance and may be reported to the venue or police.

11. Participant responsibility and getting home

Participants are responsible for their own behaviour, alcohol consumption, belongings, and personal safety throughout the Event. The organiser does not provide transport home. The crawl ends at the last listed venue. You must arrange your own way home.

12. Liability

Participation is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser is not liable for:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Health and fitness to participate

Participants confirm that they are fit to participate and understand that the Event involves walking between venues and the consumption of alcohol.

14. Photography and video

Photos and videos may be taken during the Event and used for promotional purposes, including on social media and the organiser’s website. If you do not wish to appear, tell the host at the start of the Event.

15. Force majeure

The organiser is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closures, transport disruption, strikes, or government restrictions.

16. Personal data

Personal information is handled in line with UK data protection law and used for booking administration, running the Event, and customer communication. We do not sell your data.

17. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
